run earthwork contractor in Minnesota, they grew steadily through handshake deals and grassroots reputation.

Expanded into industrial, utility, hydroelectric, and heavy civil projects across multiple states and Canada.

Performed work on highways, bridges, rail, mining, industrial facilities, CCR/environmental, and water resource developments.

Transitioned to employee ownership via ESOP, retaining leadership continuity under the Ames family.
